Getting down with the kids

Last night the Missus and I joined some friends from Clare's Uni days to attend what the young people these days call a "gig" in Camden.
And this time, dear reader, absolutely no-one tried to peddle their third rate soft drugs on me (see previous post).
Perhaps my shorts / rucksack combo gave off an air of German tourist, and they were put off by potential language difficulties.
Anyway, the "gig" was excellent, and I even got an unintelligible inky mark stamped on my hand by the pierced wookie on the door (it's been years since I got one of those). It was our friend Daliah we'd come to see, and she and her band rocked the hot sticky joint man. She's just brought out her debut album on Universal records, and is about to make it big.
